A Very Busy Feng Shui November

What a wonderfully enriching and busy month November was for Feng Shui in Singapore!  It kicked off with the 7th Annual IFSA Conference, which once again featured some great presentations from renowned experts such as GM Yap Cheng Hai, GM Raymond Lo, GM Tan Khoon Yong, GM Lillian Too, Master Mas Kehardtham, Master Surendran, Master Wang Xiao He and Juliana Abram.

Topics included ‘Analyzing the Feng Shui of Big Buildings’, ‘Analyzing World Events’, ‘Ba Zai Feng Shui’, ‘The Study of Liu Ren’, ‘Secrets of Sacred Spaces’, ‘Feng Shui Design for Asian & Western Communities’ and ‘Year of the Rabbit Predictions’.

As always the conference also gave me a great chance to catch up with both my Australian and International colleagues and this year saw more Aussies than ever fly over and enjoy all the exciting Feng Shui festivities!

In fact on the Saturday night I had the pleasure of hosting a dinner party at my apartment on behalf of the IFSA Australia Chapter.  The guest list was truly wonderful and included most of the IFSA Chapter Committee, GM Vincent Koh and his lovely wife Nancy, Stephen Skinner and his beautiful new bride Navaneeta, Master Mas, Ricardo, Mr. Eng Buck Kheng, Carol Partridge and Master Khor Tong Nee, who delighted everyone all night with his amazingly accurate and entertaining palm readings. As you can tell from the photo, a great night was had by all!

Immediately following the IFSA Conference, GM Vincent Koh ran a 2 day Intermediate IV Pillars of Destiny Workshop and this provided an amazing opportunity for both local and international students to study Bazi with this very knowledgeable, experienced and generous teacher.  Later next year GM Koh will be coming to Australia to teach IV Pillars and I Ching and details will be available on both my website and the IFSA – Australia Chapter website.

Finally I finished the month off with a very generous invitation from Ricardo to attend a field trip with Master Mas’ and his Advanced Urban Landform group.  This certainly got me out of the classroom and into a cityscape and really opened my eyes even further as to how Qi flows in our environment.  It was a day filled with practical examples and assessments that were designed to show us how to better select auspicious sites and locations for both commercial and residential purposes.  All in all a great course and field trip which the IFSA – Australia Chapter will also be bringing to our shores in the early part of 2011.  Once again look for details on the website www.intfsa.org.au as they will be released very soon!
